INFORMATION ON THE DATA CONTROLLER

Within the scope of the Giamare e-commerce platform, your personal data is processed by Giamare Alüminyum Mobilya San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (the “Company” or “our Company”) in its capacity as data controller, in accordance with this Privacy Notice and Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “Law”).

Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data is processed by our Company for the following purposes:

  1. Managing shopping processes on the e-commerce platform, carrying out communication regarding your orders, and organising payment transactions and logistics services,

  2. Personalising your website experience, tailoring products and services to you, and promoting campaigns and promotions,

  3. Managing your requests and complaints and organising online support processes,

  4. Fulfilling our legal obligations and ensuring the legal, technical and commercial security of our e-commerce activities.

Parties to Whom Your Personal Data May Be Transferred and Purposes of Transfer

In line with the purposes stated above, your personal data may be transferred by our Company to the following parties located in Turkey and/or abroad:

  1. Our service providers (shipping, payment systems, technical support, etc.),

  2. Our business partners and suppliers,

  3. Public institutions and organisations authorised by law,

  4. Social media platforms and digital advertising service providers.

These transfers are carried out in accordance with the personal data processing conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Your Personal Data

Your personal data is collected and stored by our Company through the following methods:

  1. Accounts you create and purchases you make on the e-commerce platform,

  2. Data collected through website cookies,

  3. Communications during the sales process and with customer service.

This data is processed on legal grounds such as fulfilling legal obligations, performing contracts and developing the Company’s activities.

Rights of the Data Subject

As data subjects, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is being processed,

  2. To request information if your personal data has been processed,

  3. To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in line with that purpose,

  4. To request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,

  5. To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data,

  6. To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

  7. To object to any outcome against you resulting from the analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems,

  8. To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data.

You may submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company via info@giamare.com . Your requests will be answered free of charge as soon as possible, depending on their nature, and within 30 days at the latest. However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
